[RL with Tails and Kyouko Sakura]

(Bowser's Castle, dining hall. Bowser is seated at the head of the table, while Tails and Kyouko are seated on either side next to him. All three have plates of food. Bowser's is mostly meat.) [Kyouko and Tails would have dishes they'd chosen. Also, I'm assuming Tails has already communicated with Kyouko and has brought her to Bowser's Castle; if this is wrong, please say so.]

Before we charge straight ahead, we need to know why we're after the Star Rod. If we know what we're all after, we'll work better together.

(seems a bit emotional; this is a personal topic) I'm after someone. I've had... (hesitates) a soft spot for her since we were little. She has this... way of carrying herself, like she's not afraid of anything. I bring her here, like tradition, but in the end these two plumbers keep wrecking my castles, demolishing my troops, and taking her away again.

I'm after the Star Rod so I can finally win her.

[He did indeed pick up her and brought her to the castle. His plate had both meat and vegetables. He listened to Bowser's story and while he did feel sorry for him, he didn't know him that well so he remained quiet. When he was asked the question though, he had to think for a moment.]

My wish? Well, I wish Dr. Eggman would finally give up trying to take over the world. My friend Sonic and I have been fighting him and beating him for so many years, I'm honestly starting to get tired of it. He's never going to win at this point. I don't feel the enjoyment of ruining his plans and saving the world like I used to. It's become an annoying chore done once a year at this point. I know it's selfish, but I'm really getting sick of it.

[He looks over to Kyouko for her answer.]

[ Kyouko wasn't even paying any particular attention, honestly - there was food, which is by far the most important part. Something about.. having a soft spot for someone? Ugh, love, how corny. And then something about fighting a villain.. man, what kind of cliche stories are those? She just eats until it's silent and she figures that's.. sort of where she's probably supposed to speak, right.. ]

... Dunno, guess having some unlimited food supply would be good. [ It seems so trivial compared to theirs, yup, but she doesn't seem to care much since she's still just munching after she shrugs.. ]

(looks thoughtful for a moment at Tails' wish, then somewhat confused by Kyouko's, then enthusiatically:) All right! Let's go get that Star Rod and make our wishes come true.

(Bowser stands from the table and marches out of the room. Several moments later, he returns, sits in his seat again, and resumes eating.)

(with a full mouth) Buh firsh, lesh eat.

[At first he was surprised that they weren't going to wait to get the Star Rod. But then he nods, ignoring the fact that Bowser was talking with his mouth full. He also starts eating as well.]

[ Hey, Kyouko is totally okay with this kind of development - more food is always on the first place. ]

.. Guess the fwood isn't too bwad hewe. [ Also speaking with her mouth full, what are manners in here.. ]

(Once the three finished eating, Bowser sits back in his chair.)

So, Kyouko. What can you do? ...Besides eat?

[He wondered this one, though mostly because he doesn't know her very well. So he just remains quiet and waits for her answer.]

.. Huh, ya never even wondered before calling me here? [ She raises an eyebrow, but then shrugs, swallowing her mouth full of food. ]

I can fight just fine, y'know! Probably better than most people on the community, they're just a bunch of losers compared to me.

[king_bowser]

I always wondered, but I invited you 'cause I like you. So...? (waits for an answer to his question)

Actually, you would be surprised how many people can fight on there. [He's tempted to say he's fought and saved the world many times, but he's too humble to say that.]

[ Invited her because he liked her..? Heh, somehow that amuses her slightly too, and she puts some more food into her mouth before she speaks on. ]

Fine, fine. If ya insist on knowing, I'm a magical girl. But you don't look like the type who knows what those are [ since he's.. a turtle.. practically.. a giant monster turtle. ] it means that I transform using magic and then fight.

(grins) All right then. Tell ya what: you help my troops with their training -- they need a lot of training -- while Tails and I work on the castle, my Kopter, and Kammy's broom. (tosses a blueprint to Tails, which he presumably catches) If we finish first, we'll come back and help you.

[OOC: Kyouko wasn't very specific about what kind of magic or transformation, so expect some stupid questions later. XD]

[Indeed he catches the blueprints. He's friends with a couple magical girls, so he knows what she's talking about. He takes a quick glance for a second before waiting for her reply.]

I'm gonna be training a bunch of bums? [ She lets out an exaggerated sigh. ] This better be worth it in the end.

[The blueprints contain plans to convert Bowser's entire Castle into a giant flying machine with the capability to go underground. There are also several other sheets of paper inside, detailing plans to make Bowser's Koopa Kopter fly higher, and a sticky note that reads "Kammy's asthma makes altitude a problem."]

[Well he's rather impressed with the blue prints. Sure he's seen and made some cool stuff, but this takes the cake. He does make a mental note to figure something out for Kammy. Perhaps he could get her some medicine.]
